Shipping policy

    We have local warehouses in the UK, US and Netherlands which means there are no additional duties or cross border charges for the UK, US and EU. If you are ordering to an address outside the United Kingdom, United States or EU, Dopamine Ropes Ltd are not responsible for paying import duties or taxes into that country and there will be additional charges due on importation. 

    UK SHIPPING

    Our UK orders are shipped from our warehouse in Sheffield - we partner with Cloud 9 Fulfilment so you may see updates from them. 

    We aim to process and dispatch all orders that are in by 2pm on the same day with a planned maximum of 2 days handling time. We use Royal Mail, DPD and UPS as our main carriers. The prices include shipping as well as picking and packaging costs and will resend any undelivered items for free. We always try to make sure that we hit the shorter time estimates but as we are a small business, deliveries can sometimes take a bit longer which is why we quote a wider time window for processing and delivery. These timelines do not apply to pre orders which will ship when the stock becomes available. With pre-orders, all items in the order will ship together when all items are back in stock.

    Royal Mail/DPD

    • Economy Tracked - Royal Mail Tracked 48 from £4.99 (2-4 working days estimated)*
    • Standard Tracked - Royal Mail Tracked 24 from £7.99 (1-3 working days estimated)*
    • Priority (1-3 working day estimated delivery. Aims to arrive next working day if ordered by 1pm on a working day) - from £9.99

    Note - delivery options and prices available depend on the weight and the value of goods. We only use tracked shipping to ensure better visibility and reliability of the goods in transit as well as compensation if there are any issues. In rare instances where the courier has failed to deliver, we will investigate with the courier and send another with an alternate courier if deemed lost.

    US Shipping

    Our US orders are shipped from our warehouse in Ohio

    We aim to process and dispatch all orders that are in by 11am PST on the same day. This means that all orders will be processed either the same or the next day after you make your order.  We use DHL, UNIUNI, USPS, UPS and Fedex as our delivery partners. The timeframes shown at checkout and below are the estimated shipping times and not a guarantee. The prices we quote include shipping as well as picking and packaging costs. These timelines do not apply to pre orders which will ship when the stock becomes available. 

    Shipping (times below and advertised do not include processing time of 1-2 business days)

    • $8 flat rate on orders up to 1lb (3-8 business days*).
    • $15 flat 2-3 business day* rate on orders up to 5lb.
    • $20 or more 3-8 business day* rate on heavy orders above 5lbs. Cost is higher for heavier orders. 
    • Priority overnight shipping rates also available as well as carrier calculated rates.  

    Prices and shipping options vary depending on the weight/volume of products ordered as well as which US State you are ordering to. Prices can be higher and offers may differ outside of Contiguous US (which includes Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska and Military locations).

    If there is a delay to your order or if an item goes missing in the post, we will send another one after waiting 21 working days from the delivery date. We will send a replacement sooner if we discover the details of the problem before the 21 working day window elapses.
     

    EU Shipping

    Our EU orders are shipped from our warehouse in Netherlands. Taxes are included for the EU meaning there are no additional fees or customs charges!

    Below are estimated transit times and do not include 1-2 working days processing time:

    • Tracked EU - estimated 3-7 working days - from €9.95 (this is standard shipping usually via Deutsche Post and will be handed over to local post in your country)
    • Priority Tracked EU - estimated 1-5 working days depending on country - from €13.95 (this will usually go with DPD or another suitable courier).
    Note that mats and multiple items are heavier and therefore more expensive to ship! Different countries in the EU will have different shipping costs. Cost of shipping will be calculated at checkout based on your address. 

    Orders with pre-order items will be dispatched once they are back in stock - estimated dates are on the product page when a pre-order is live. 

    We use Deutsche Post, DPD and DHL as our main carriers. 

    Please note that any Deutsche Post shipments also get passed to the local post in your country and so you can track the item on your local post office website as well. 


    Please note as the Canary Islands sit outside of EU VAT area, we don't currently ship there from our EU store. Please contact us as we can set up a manual order from our UK store but any local taxes and import taxes in Las Palmas will apply and be the responsibility of the customer. 

    International Shipping (All other territories)**

    *These timelines are estimates from the day after your order is placed and may take longer in the event of delays from our suppliers or couriers. We will always try to update you in advance if we are aware of any delays. In rare cases couriers may lose items; if this happens, we will resend your order at no additional cost. Please be aware this will extend the delivery timeframe.

    Once an order is confirmed, it is difficult to cancel or amend. Please ensure that all order details, including delivery address, are correct before completing your purchase.

    **For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, United States, or EU, Dopamine Ropes is not responsible for paying import duties or taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the customer, who should investigate and understand them before ordering. Dopamine Ropes is also not responsible for any delays, damages, or losses caused by local delivery services after the goods have been dispatched.
