Affiliate Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be 18 or over.
  • Dopamine Ropes Ltd may approve or reject any application, and may pause new sign-ups at any time.
  • Each person may hold only one affiliate account.

Discounts and commission

  • Approved affiliates receive a 10% discount code to share with their audience.
  • Affiliates earn between 10% and 20% commission on sales, depending on the products purchased.
  • Commission is earned when a customer uses your discount code and/or makes a purchase after clicking your personal affiliate link.
  • Commission is reversed if the customer returns an item and receives a refund.
  • Self-referrals do not earn commission.
  • Purchases made by other affiliates using your code do not earn commission.

Tracking

  • Sales are credited to you if a customer buys within 30 days of clicking your affiliate link, or when your discount code is used at checkout.
  • If a customer uses another affiliate's code after clicking your link, commission goes to the affiliate whose code was used.

Payments

  • Commission is calculated and paid in GBP, including on orders placed in other currencies.
  • Commission is paid monthly via PayPal. Please make sure your PayPal email in your affiliate dashboard is correct.
  • PayPal may charge fees, including currency conversion fees if your PayPal account uses a currency other than GBP. These fees are your responsibility and will not be covered by Dopamine Ropes Ltd.
  • Commission becomes payable once the order's 30-day returns period has passed. It is then included in the next monthly payout.
  • You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on commission you earn.

Where you can share

  • You may only share your code and link on your own social media profiles and websites, or by word of mouth within your communities.
  • You may not run paid advertising of any kind using your code or link. This includes bidding on "Dopamine Ropes" or any variation of the brand name as a search keyword.
  • You may not share your code on coupon or discount code websites. If your code appears on a third-party site, it may be changed or removed, orders from that source will be rejected, any related commission will be removed, and you may be removed from the program.
  • If your code appears in Google or AI search results (usually because it has been scraped by another website), we will need to change it. Sales from these sources come from customers searching for "Dopamine Ropes discount codes" and can't be attributed to affiliates.

Disclosure

  • You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship whenever you share your code or link, for example by using #ad or "ad" at the start of your post. This is required under UK advertising rules (ASA/CAP) and equivalent rules in other countries, including FTC guidelines in the US.

Brand conduct

  • You must not make false or misleading claims about Dopamine Ropes products, or post content that could damage the Dopamine Ropes brand.
  • You may not use "Dopamine Ropes" or any similar name in your social media handles, usernames or domain names, or present yourself as an official Dopamine Ropes account or representative.

Fraud

  • You must not place fake orders, manipulate tracking (including cookie stuffing or forcing clicks on your link), or use any other method to generate commission dishonestly. Any of these will result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of all unpaid commission.

Your content

  • By joining the program, you give Dopamine Ropes Ltd permission to repost and share content you create featuring our products on our own social media channels and website, with credit to you. You confirm that you own the rights to any content you share.
  • If you'd prefer we don't repost a particular piece of content, just let us know.

Leaving or being removed from the program

  • You can leave the program at any time by emailing us at support@dopamineropes.com.
  • If you leave, or are removed for reasons other than a breach of these terms, any valid commission you have already earned will be paid in the next payout once it has cleared the returns period.
  • If you are removed for breaching these terms, any unpaid commission linked to that breach will be forfeited.

Our relationship

  • Affiliates are independent and are not employees, agents or representatives of Dopamine Ropes Ltd. You may not make commitments or agreements on our behalf.

Our rights

  • Dopamine Ropes Ltd may change discount percentages, commission rates and discount codes at its discretion.
  • Dopamine Ropes Ltd may reject any sale it believes came from an unapproved source.
  • Dopamine Ropes Ltd may remove affiliates who breach these terms.
  • Dopamine Ropes Ltd may update these terms from time to time. We will notify affiliates of any significant changes by email. Continuing to take part in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
